Georgette (Spanjich) Kerr

EXECUTIVE Vice President

Georgette is Executive Vice President and a co-founder of Plurus Strategies. In this role, she focuses on client matters related to defense; foreign policy; cybersecurity; technology; and immigration. Georgette has represented multiple clients in meetings with senior U.S. Government officials, including Congressional and Executive Branch staff, as well as external national security organizations.

Prior to the launch of Plurus Strategies, Georgette was a Senior Manager of Government Relations at ML Strategies, where she developed original policy proposals on issues related to defense acquisition reform, energy and the environment, health care, and cybersecurity. Georgette also focused on assisting U.S. companies in conducting business abroad, as well as foreign companies doing business in the U.S., through engagement with U.S. and foreign embassies and coordination with U.S. entities responsible for project advocacy and project finance.

During the 2016 presidential cycle, Georgette supported the Hillary for America policy team, serving as Administrator of the Immigration Policy Working Group. In this capacity, Georgette played a key role in developing work products to inform Secretary Hillary Clinton’s immigration policy platform.

Throughout her time in Washington, Georgette has also worked for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), where she was part of the federal lobbying team that developed the early strategy for the passage of the Matthew Shephard Act. While at HRC, she also closely monitored legislative opportunities for the repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) policy.

In 2008, Georgette served in the office of Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, where she provided support for constituent services and had the responsibility of scheduling both the Senator and her staff.

B.A., summa cum laude, with honors in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government, and certificates in Women, Policy, and Political Leadership and Advanced Leadership Studies, American University
