Paul Eppler

Manager of Government rELATIONS

Paul is the Manager of Government Relations with Plurus Strategies. He works primarily on client matters related to energy, environment, tax, and trade.

Prior to joining Plurus Strategies, Paul was a paralegal with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he focused on trade issues. In his role there, Paul worked closely with attorneys on a number of projects pertaining to import / export compliance and trade agreement developments, among others. In addition to his work in trade, Paul was a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility practice, for which he prepared research and briefing documents for attorneys advising clients about industry best practices on environmental and labor issues. He also was seconded to Facebook’s Washington, DC office, where he supported the Trade and Political Compliance teams, working on export licensing and lobbying disclosure.

Before his time as a paralegal, Paul worked for Davis & Harman LLP as a Legal Assistant. In this role, he conducted research about issues related to tax policy, and helped coordinate logistics for congressional campaigns.
